It's not too late to book a trip to Bass Lake/Yosemite trip.

Today, we will have had the shortest day over this narrow valley, the least amount of light with which to admire the immensity of its depth, the duty of its colors, and the character of its majesty. Today, it seems that the sun just couldn’t bear to look at it. Perhaps even from an astronomical distance there is something regrettably enviable about our little blue dot: it contains a diversity of wonder but only alongside a contentious struggle for life at times beautiful, at times painful. Maybe best to keep such a thing out of sight. But over this longest night of the winter solstice, the sun will change its mind. Again, it will extend its heavenly travels, bit by bit, and under its renewed attention we will find the familiar gushing falls and flowing streams, a verdancy to match the might of the rock beside. But in the meantime, as dark as it may be, it’s all still here. It all remains. Regardless of the light, that wonder perseveres, so let us all meet this endurance with an invigorated preparedness for the coming sun. May it shine down in future seasons on equivalent wonder but on greater patience and understanding.

This is an incredible experience for all ages in Yosemite. But make sure you get your reservation or you might be disappointed.
But it’s always a good time to go to Yosemite.
