In the US, less than 5% of commercial pilots are women. Emily is a skilled pilot and flight instructor who joined our aviation family last year, and a great role model to other young women aspiring to have a career in aviation. We look forward to Emily’s continued career growth with us!

The coolest part about working at the airport is getting to see the variety of birds that come and go! Even this little fellow who decided to land at BTR Jet Center to refuel! 😁😁 We took him in with open arms…or rather a few shoulders, giving him refuge and a temporary home for a few weeks.
Even named him Elvis, as he loved to sing and put on quite the show.🎤
Though he won the hearts of many, we did finally find him a new forever home and…
Elvis has now left the building! 💜🤩 💜
