🧘‍♀️"Staying onsite" is about so much more than just early park admission and convenient transportation options (though those are pretty great perks)! 10/10 recommend taking a day or two to soak up all the Disney resorts have to offer.
🏹 In addition to themed pools, surprise character visits, and nightly movies under the stars, did you know Disney resorts offer yoga sessions, archery lessons, and fishing excursions?! These are just a few of the many activities to choose from when building in a "rest day" outside of the parks.

🥹Saved the best RunDisney post for last - at the end of the day, the magic is really all about people. One of my favorite things was seeing groups of friends from all over the country who meet up at RunDisney races, and hearing from people who signed up "alone" but became part of a community of Disney-loving runners.
🥰For me it was these 3 incredibly strong, smart, hilarious women. We're not lifelong friends, nor do we even hang out all that much socially, but we were all up for an adventure and shared more laughter across 4 days than any of us could have predicted.

🥹 This girl's accomplishments deserve their own post. My good friend Kate Prejean decided to join for this RunDisney adventure, despite never having run a race. She started training in the heat of summer, kept our group updated on her progress, and stayed more focused than any of the rest of us (by far)! I am so incredibly proud of her for not only meeting this goal, but continuing to surpass it by already completing another race this month!
If you've never run before don't let that stop you from considering RunDisney! It's a life-changing experience and I'm sure Kate would agree!

One of my favorite parts of this trip was seeing firsthand the (literally) OVERNIGHT transition from Halloween to Christmas! We arrived on November 1st and one of the first things I noticed was the side-by-side merchandise - how fun to get a little of both holidays in Disney!
🎄After the race we spent November 2nd in the parks, and were thrilled to see the tree in Magic Kingdom + ride the "Jingle" Cruise!

🚂Following this holiday season, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will temporarily close for refurbishment beginning January 6, 2025. 🚂

🛳The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025, kicking off an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
