🦁Last stop on our Southern California adventure: San Diego Zoo!
🐨Seeing their many koalas in action was a core memory for all of us, and this was by far the most impressive zoo I've ever visited.
🚌 The double-decker bus tour was a great opportunity to learn the lay of the land, and explore some of the more elevated parts of the park without walking. The aerial tram was also a fun way to navigate (check out those views)!

🍄As I wrap up my week of Disneyland posts I've got two more Southern California destinations to share. First: Universal Studios Hollywood, where you can visit Super Nintendo World! This immersive land is full of interactive features for all ages!
🏎 Bowser's Challenge gives those of us who grew up playing Mario Kart (🙋‍♀️) the exciting chance to take on Bowser once and for all.
🍔 Toadstool Cafe is a precious restaurant serving themed favorites for the whole family (bonus: with me as your travel advisor you get tips for successfully joining the queue to dine here)!

🏃‍♂️We (obviously) love our Disney days, but after a busy morning in the parks sometimes kids just need room to run free. Today's highlight: Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
🏝My kids absolutely love the quick raft ride over to this expansive island made for their discovery!
🏰 ICYMI: There's a similar Tom Sawyer Island at Magic Kingdom in Disney World, so this tip works regardless of which coast you're visiting...you may even run into a character or two along your journey!
🌳Bonus pic: for another less-structured attraction, check out the incredibly detailed Adventureland Treehouse designed in honor of the original treehouse Walt Disney and his Imagineers built in 1962!
