FALL TRIP SERIES🍂✈️🏨

Destination: Napa Valley, CA
Wine, cheese, and beautiful views. What isn’t to love about Napa Valley?

✈️San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Sacramento international Airport (SMF) are both about an hour drive to Napa Valley. (we flew into SFO)

🚖Transportation options are car rental, Uber, or taxi. (we decided to Uber since we knew we would indulge in some wine🍷🤪)

🏨We stay at Archer Hotel, located right in the center of downtown. Stop by their rooftop bar, it is definitely the cool place to grab drinks in the evening.
OR
The Meritage Resort and Spa if you’re looking for a luxurious, amenity full experience. Treat yourself to a couple’s massage at the spa and would definitely consider staying there on our next trip to Napa. 💆‍♀️
Castaligo stay at: The Francis House
Saint Helena stay at: The Alila Napa Valley
Yountville stay at: Hotel Yountville

Things to do:
🍷🚂Napa Valley Wine Train is a must do❗️
Site see in style up & down the countryside stopping at multiple wineries for tastings. OR have a full course diner as you travel up & down the countryside. (we went on Thanksgiving Day and had a traditional holiday meal)

Tour wineries, the options are endless.
Del Dotto Wine Caves is a stunning Napa Valley winery with Venetian influence and Italian architecture. The wine caves of Del Dotto are the oldest caves in Napa. We did wine tasting from the barrels in the caves. Napa wine tasting will not be complete without the Cave Experience & Barrel Tasting of Del Dotto wines. (this was our favorite)
Napa- Tasting at Domaine Carneros: do a sparkling wine tasting and order a charcuterie board to graze on.
Castaligo – Tasting at Larkmead: this is a small, family-owned vineyard with a ton of history!
Saint Helena – Tasting at Charles Krug: one of the oldest wineries in all of Napa. If you go on the weekend they have an outdoor patio and pizza oven!

Tarla Mediterranean Grill
Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch serves incredible seasonal farm-to-table meals.
Dinner at Oenotri: amazing italian food just a short walk from The Archer.

Savannah, Georgia is a charming town in the southeastern United States. It perfectly melds culture, delicious food, interesting people and history.

✈️Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is the closest airport to Savannah at just 12 miles away. It does offer some direct flights mostly from within the Southeast, South, and Midwest.

Things to do:
⛲️Forsyth Park fountain in FORSYTH PARK, large fountain built in 1858. (one of the most photographed spots in Savannah)

Spend a day experiencing RIVER STREET and take a SAVANNAH RIVER CRUISES which set sail from River Street multiple times a day.
