Imagine, for just a minute, that all the work you did last year - all the projects you worked on - all the hours you spent in meetings - all the time you put in on your job ... was suddenly cancelled and recalled. NOW you have to continue to come in EVERY day and work long hours and undo ALL.OF.IT. On top of that, not only will you not be paid for any of this new work, but you also have to return ALL of the money you thought you made last year.

From a brilliant travel agent and friend, Louise Rumfello: "TRAVEL SMART...there is no need to rush to panic mode over the latest news on Punta Cana. I have been in the travel business 18 years and we have had numerous travel situations that have brought the public to realize you cannot travel with the mindset well I am on vacation and I can do whatever I want. Three months after I got into the travel business the US experienced 9/11. We have have had bird flu, swine flu, bombings, shootings, pick pockets, people go missing on ships & in destinations, plane crashes, ship wrecks, etc. Crime happens every where: Barcelona, London, New York City, Las Vegas, Boston, Detroit, New Orleans, Orlando, Aruba, Jamaica, Mexico, etc. Can you name one place that doesn't have crime or people die an untimely death. I hate when anything happens to people just trying to have a good time. My own family has experiences untimely deaths due to boating and car accidents. Folks the most important item you need to pack is your common sense, your brain when you walk out the door of your home. Don't climb up on cruise ship railings; you may fall off. Don't over indulge in drinking or eating. You go to a bar in the US if you mix different types of alcohol and/or drink 10, 12, 15, or 20 drinks you are going to be sick or possibly die; it is not the bar or the resorts fault. You cannot leave your drinks unattended; you don't do that in a local bar why would you do it when you leave the country. There are criminals in every place we go even Walmart that are looking for the opportunity to steal your belongings that you leave unattended. There is a safe in your room use it. We all need to take personal responsibility for what we do or don't do. Here is a news article that speaks some facts that I believe we need to consider:"
