Hi I’m ReRe and I’m sharing a first hand look at South Louisiana’s Snow-Megeddan 2025. It was 72 only 3 days ago! You may love this cold wet stuff, but I’m not a fan and I’m no snow-angle so let me tell you about the tropical places I’d rather be. Here are my top 3 getaways to escape winter weather.

🏝The Cayman Islands is always my first choice - the beaches are to die for and I’m a huge fan of the water adventures, world-class scuba diving and a chance to play with the stingrays. Stay at the Ritz Carlton on 7-miles beach and escape the cold in style!

🏖How about, Grace Bay Club in Turks and Caicos. Grace Bay Club offers adults-only and family friendly options with endless white sand and warm water so you don’t catch a chill!

🏝Rosewood Little Dix on Virgin Gorda for secluded luxury. But plenty of boat trips so you can booze-cruise to the Soggy Dollar Bar and have a well deserved painkiller cocktail so forget this cold!

I recently had an incredible stay at the Augustine Hotel in Prague, a serene oasis in the city's Lesser Town, near Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. As part of the Luxury Collection, it features a rich history linked to a 13th-century monastery. Tom and I joined the Thursday tour of the monastery and got to meet Fr William! On the agenda today is a fabulous plan for a client to the south of France this Spring!

You’ll get a list of results, but here’s the thing, it may not actually be what’s best for you and your travel preferences.

So many booking sites prioritize profits, pushing trip suggestions based on the inventory they want to fill and suppliers who pay for premium placements.

It’s about what’s best for their bottom line, not necessarily what’s best for you and your travel plans.

Forget the witches and ghouls👻 ; nothing gives me more chills than seeing friends take risks with their vacation time because of travel advice they find online that isn’t vetted.

Seriously, if you think the Myrtles in St Francisville is scariest place in America, try booking a hotel or tour without the right intel!

You never know if that blog post about the “best resort” is actually true or just a cleverly edited fairy tale.

And let’s not even get started on those photoshopped hotel pictures that make places look like five-star palaces when they’re really more “rustic charm” than luxury.

A swift stop this morning at the Germany-Austria border led us to the charming town of Passau - “The Town of Three Rivers,” where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz merge. With its stunning gothic and baroque buildings, this place was the medieval hotspot for sword-wielding artisans. Today you can find local artisans by following the colored cobblestones🎨
