It's time to call on Congress to Endorse H.R. 6283 and H.R. 5376 and stop the PBM middlemen from inflating drug prices!

Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) are for-profit companies that negotiate drug prices and rebates – just 3 PBM companies control 80% of the market.

Please call or email your congressmen to support H.R. 6283 (the Delinking Revenue from Unfair Gouging Act) and H.R. 5376 (Share the Savings with Seniors Act).

These bills stop PBMs from steering patients to use their affiliated pharmacies and reduces PBM incentives to inflate prices by implementing a flat fee for negotiations.

And because PBMs get paid a percentage of the price of the drugs we must purchase, they are incentivizing themselves and forcing doctors to prescribe the more expensive drugs. Hospital dishonest billing practices really captured in this op-ed!

"Last session, a bill was introduced here in Missouri that would’ve prevented hospitals from surprising consumers and health plans, which happens when hospitals reclassify a doctor’s office that they own as a hospital setting to charge more money and occurs largely because of unchecked hospital consolidation."
