The City of Bay City would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday/Merry Christmas. Our office will be closed starting at noon today 12/24/2024 through 12/29/2024 to give our employees an extended Holiday Weekend. We will return to the office on Monday 12/30/2024 at 7:30am.

Today Mayor Liane Welch joined forces with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Tillamook Estuaries Partnership to assist children and parents in the release of recently hatched salmon into Patterson Creek.

On Monday a small army called the Bay City Booster Club joined forces with JM Excavating and City staff to kick off the start of a Welcome Garden Park. This new attraction will be located between City Hall and the RV Dump Station, and will invite visitors to explore all Bay City has to offer.

Great turnout for our first Trunk or Treat! We'll definitely have another one next Halloween.
Special thanks to Downies Cafe and Precision Wood for donating the prizes, and to the event organizers: Bay City Emergency Volunteers, Bay City Booster Club, Bay City Fire & Rescue, Bay City Kitchen, and all who set up and helped make this event a success.

Our Public Works crew is preparing to patch a large pothole on the corner of 9th and Hwy 101. 9th Street has been closed from Tillamook Ave southwards to the junction with Hwy 101.
The repair is expected to be completed by midday tomorrow.
