Wow. Bucket list fish for me in the new otter hub today. Sturgeon through the ice. As added bonus I caught it on a new style stinger hook set up that I have been working on with M & H tackle. This was the hot bait during the cold snap. Fish was returned to the river after a few quick pics.

Boats are in Winter storage, Venison is in the freezer, and the ice fishing is shaping up nicely for 2025. Thank you to everyone who went fishing with me in 2024. Also thanks to everyone who rented Captains Landing. Looks the weather is finally going to be great on Lake Michigan for the next week or so. I will be offering walk ons for Danny Boy 2 for month of September. A lot of big kings already went into the river but there a few left to be caught along with big steel head, Coho, and Pink (yes actually caught a pink salmon in platte bay). Fun trip with Keith and Mike for the Roscoe tournament. If it was a bass tournament Keith would have won. If catfish tournament I would have won. Mike was catching walleye but came up up short of the winning the tournament. Thank Mike and Keith for a fun trip
