As soon as you enter WaterDance, you’ll be captivated by it’s soaring wood-beamed ceilings and expansive windows framing spectacular views of the river. An open plan on this level houses a large family room and kitchen, connected by an eat-in bar. This great retro-kitchen offers all the modern appliances and amenities you could want. A spacious wrap-around deck opens off the family room and will b
e a favorite gathering spot with plenty of seating, tables and a gas grill. Just six steps up from the main level are three bedrooms and two full baths. Each bedroom has a queen bed, and the master suite has a study with a sofa bed that converts into a twin bed. On the ground level, you’ll find a large game room, screened-in patio, second kitschy kitchen and another bedroom with a queen bed. Perfect level for a second family, or a great place for the kids to hang out! Both living rooms and each of the four bedrooms have great views of the expansive North River. The fish and shrimp are literally jumping out of the water here! WaterDance has its own private dock, complete with fish cleaning station, running water, comfy benches and soft solar lights that respect the dark night sky out on the river. You can fish or try your luck at clamming or harvesting oysters … right from the dock! Bring your boat to WaterDance. We accept boats up to a 12" draft and you can launch your boat (up to 24') from the neighborhood boat ramp. WaterDance is pure delight for the nature-lover’s soul. More than 160 bird species have been spotted here, including painted buntings, osprey, great blue herons, red headed woodpeckers and ruby-throated hummingbirds. The night sky is magnificent on the river, with stars and planets glittering in countless numbers. And, if you’re lucky enough to be there to see the moon rise over the water, you’ll never forget it! Kayak the winding tidal creeks or head to the shores of Shackleford banks for a swim and a chance to see the wild horses. If you're in the mood to just chill, WaterDance is the perfect place. Listen to the water lapping and the birds calling.
