Spring is getting near and the SHARKS are almost here! The 2025 lowcountry Shark season starts in less then 30 days and The Salty Savage crew will be back on the beach! Come March the big sandtiger sharks and sandbars will be cruising along our coast calling it home for about 6 weeks on their migration north following the cooler water temps. With that being said we are getting ready for an awesome season ahead of us putting clients on the biggest fish we can right from shore while making memories to last a lifetime! 40th bull red of the year was a absolute unit! Coming in at 44” inches From hook up to release this battle was all over in less then 2 minutes! The Penn slammer 8500 filled with 80lb True Braid and a 12ft Ugly Stik break water rod had this giant goldfish to the pier in about 90 seconds! Gotta thank the net man Wesley for scooping this stud on the first shot🤙🫡💪🥁

Last weekend we got it done here in the lowcountry! Lemon sharks by day off the beach and big bull reds from the pier at night! With this warm weather we expect the fishing to stay pretty productive for the next few weeks! Sharks are still cruising the surf and inlets we should be seeing big sandbars in good numbers any day now along with some local lemons, bulls and maybe a fall time sandtiger. The Bull reds have still been hammering down off the piers and inlets along with sharks in the 3-5ft range and some monster rays ripping drag! We still have some availability this month and as the season starts to end we will be OFFERING $100 off any BULLRED trip & $200 off any shark trip! The dates available for night time trips starting at 7pm this month are the 8th, 11th, 15th, 16th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and the last trip of the season will be the 22nd! Solid full moon bite for Seth and Caleb from Kentucky! Seth caught his dream shark a solid bull and Caleb caught his first ever saltwater fish a healthy bar! Have to thank Matthew Green for coming to the rescue and this may be a first in history but the drone saved the kayak! The old perception tribe 11.5 almost sunk on the first yak ride out because when your plastic boats got a hole in it she don’t wanna float no more….. also thanks to young AJ Bateholts for your help on the trip and we got it done son! REDTOBER keeps getting better and better baby! Danny experienced the fall frenzy to the fullest! We have a new PB broken twice over a weekend for my boy first was 37” and the second was thick 40” stud, our first double up on bull reds for us this fall with two We got completely spooled on the 4500 penn spinfisher the 300yds of 30lb True Braid just wasn’t enough for this monster! We also jumped several tarpon and proved to this Florida man that we do have poons in SC but between the bridge, pylons and raging current in the lowcountry the silver king remains the champion in this 5 year battle to land one here in our local waters landbased! Along with several finetooth and sandbar sharks along the way in the 4-5ft range on the mono bull drum rigs! Danny got to see the lowcountry fall frenzy in full effect! Got to do a little personal fishing over the weekend with my boy Justin. Well the homie landed a under water UFO in less then 10 minutes on the 10500 penn slammer vi like an absolute savage and let’s just say we got shark bait for our next trip off the beach this week! Also landed this lowcountry bull Gold fish in under 5 minutes with the old reliable PENN spinfisher 4500 slapped full of 30lb True Braid on a $40 dollar 10-20lb surf rod from Walmart. We found GOLD over the weekend in the lowcountry! Travis came down last week to do two things first one was to make some badass art work at Hoju Tattoo with my good friend Justin and the second was to catch a lowcountry stud with us! Well let’s just say he completed his mission! We caught 6 bull reds and about 10 sharks in the 3-4ft range all in a 5hr trip off the pier! Travis caught his first redfish and it was an absolute tank along with his first shark a solid bonnet head! The fall frenzy is in full effect and we still have spots open this week and spots still available in October! On our last 3 trips over the Labor Day weekend we had one hell of a time! 4 lemons sharks, 5 black tips, 1 finetooth shark and we unfortunately lost a massive hammerhead that pulled about 400yds of line on a short dropped 50w before being cut off by the unreal amount of smaller sized sharks cruising the beach this time of year! We lost several nice fish due to this and that 1 absolute stud! We sent baits in every way you can casting, yaking and the new drone but I will say the drones great till it’s not and a backlash on a reel sends the new toy into the abyss! Also kids lemon sharks will absolutely kick your ass and give you shark rash worse the. Any other shark! With that being said we still have plenty of opening for the month of September and for this upcoming fall season!
