The Woods Memorial Bridge in downtown will be closed Sunday, November 17th, starting at 8pm until 6am, November 18th.
The bridge will be closed so crews can install a new set of gates to block traffic when the bridge opens for boats. The closure may cause traffic backups on Lady's Island Drive and Ribaut Road as motorists use the Mcteer Bridge during these hours.
