May is here and the bite is everything you want it to be! We had a great time today catching some beautiful gaffer and then closed out the day dropping for some and landed a couple including an absolute beast weighing 42lbs before the sharks moved in! Wow!

Nearshore halfdays have produced plenty of #spanishmackerel and given us the opportunity to wrestle with some #sharks all of which were released with nothing more than a sore jaw. Bottomfishing we’ve caught #triggerfish, #vermillionsnapper, #blackseabass and more for the cooler. #grouper and #redsnapper are closed and have to be released now but they put a fun fight when they bite! #nccharterfishing #fishing #trolling #clarkspoons #beaufortnc #fish
