The bite yesterday morning started off with a bang. We put 8 cobia in the boat in the 1st hr! The bite slowed down a bit when the wind kicked up but we were able to pick away at a few more and add a bonus grouper to the mix.

Tournament season is off to a great start. It took a lot of searching but we managed to find some nice kings and take 1st place in the king mackerel division of the Fripp Island Memorial day tournament! Shout out to Grayson and Mick for all the hard work.

We switched gears this morning and did a little backwater fishing. The spot tail bass bite was strong. We also picked up a couple trout and a couple short flounder.

Ran across a pack on Manta Rays yesterday on the way in yesterday. They were filter feeding along a tideline just offshore off Fripp. We stopped to investigate and there were no Cobia underneath them. Still a cool sight to see though. The size of these rays is incredible.

We had a couple great bluewater trips this weekend. We had a mixed bag of mahi and tuna Sat and Sunday. We also released a sail and a white marlin!
