The Best
We are elderly, 70 and 85 and this home was perfect for us. It is very comfortable with fantastic views of Lake Superior. We tend to spend more time at the home rather than out so comfort ranks above ultra stylish. One bedroom is on ground floor and offers privacy for the handicapped. The gas fireplace was great. We hope to visit again.

The home was beautiful and clean. You can tell the owners take pride in their home. It was so serene! We will absolutely be returning guests! By far our favorite place to stay along the North Shore!!

Split Rock State Park is just 4 miles from our vacation home at 618 Windsong so we are frequent visitors. We hike up Day hill often for the fabulous view and we sit on the hearth of the fireplace and talk about the story of the jilted lover and his abandoned plans to build a home here. I thought of it as eery, just a sad mystery. I encourage our guests to take the hike, it's interesting and you'll enjoy a different view of Split Rock Lighthouse and the Apostle Islands.
The sad history of Day Hill and its forsaken fireplace make it one of the eeriest - and most beautiful - abandoned places in Minnesota.
This amazing place is just a couple of miles from our home at 618 Windsong. We were delighted to find a replacement in perfect condition for our favorite cracked Corningware dish. The next time you're in the area, pull in, you'll be amazed at what you'll find.

One the reasons we bought our townhome at 618 Windsong in Beaver Bay is it's proximity to Gooseberry Falls. It takes 10 minute to drive there so we hike this park regularly, it's different
in every season and always wonderful. No wonder it's one of Minnesota's most popular state
parks, don't miss it.
This beautiful spot is simply magical!
No question this is one of our favorite spots and it's only a few miles from our home at 618 Windsong in Beaver Bay. It is bit of a workout, there are lots of stairs, but it is so worth it.
Known as Crystal Bay, this section of Lake Superior's North Shore is in beautiful Tettegouche State Park, and it is truly magical.

Though it is more than 1,000 miles from any ocean, Park Point Beach was named among the best beaches in the U.S. It's easy to see why.
We agree! If you've never taken a road trip to the north shore of Lake Superior, you really should. You will wonder why you waited so long.
Head to northern Minnesota to drive the North Shore Scenic Drive along Lake Superior. It offers amazing views of cliffs, water, and more!
With 100 inches of snow to melt, this waterfall season is going to be epic! Gooseberry Falls, the Beaver river falls and Baptism river falls are all within 10 miles of our home at 618 Windsong. If you've never done the north shore waterfall tour, this is the year to do it!
This road trip covers 110 miles of the North Shore, visiting both popular and lesser known waterfalls. It is a beautiful spring trip!

"A beautiful home in a beautiful setting"
"My husband and I along with his brother and wife spend three days in this wonderful home. The home and kitchen are more than adequately equipped. This home is beautifully appointed and cozy. I was afraid that since they had an on-demand water heater that I would not get a hot whirlpool. I followed the directions and filled the tub first with only hot water adding the cold water as needed once the hot water was at full capacity. It's a wonderful home for two couple or a family with old enough children to have parents on one floor and children on another. It was a great location on the North Shore. You won't be disappointed with this home! Very worth the investment of time and money. Enjoy!"

Northern Lights Alert! We have the 14th open, come on up and have a rare chance to see the Northern Lights!
There is a good chance to see the Aurora Borealis aka 'northern lights' tonight. Look to the night skies anytime after dark and even into the pre-dawn hours.

While the sheer height of many peaks and lookouts in Minnesota aren't too impressive, the views are definitely worth hiking for.
