This morning, the Beaver Dam Chamber’s Breakfast Network had the honor of hosting Fire Chief Wesle, who shared incredible insights into the hard work, dedication, and service of the Beaver Dam Fire Department. We were blown away by everything this remarkable team accomplishes:

🔥 3100+ calls last year—providing vital services to our community.
🔥 The only department in the county trained for confined space rescue, diving, and grain bin rescue.
🔥 Coverage of 100 square miles for fire response and 125 square miles for ambulance service, serving 25,000 residents!

👩‍🚒 This team is truly 24/7:
🏢 They live at the station (built in 1929!) around the clock.
🏗️ Conduct 1400 inspections annually—ensuring every business and public place is safe.
📚 Logged 12,000 training hours last year, showcasing their commitment to excellence.
👩‍🚒 With 8 women on staff, their diversity surpasses national and even Madison averages!

📢 Community Impact:
🏫 Fire safety education in schools.
🫀 CPR, PALS, AED, and fire extinguisher training for the public.
🌟 Their Cadet Program inspires future firefighters, giving high schoolers hands-on experience and mentorship. It’s no surprise that several current employees started as cadets!

Chief Wesle also presented the Chamber with a meaningful challenge coin customized with the department’s insignia—a token we’ll cherish as a reminder of their incredible work.

Located at 106 Frances Lane (across from Walmart), this store is a dream come true for LEGO enthusiasts of all ages.
