The Carbon Flat has had long term guests for the last 8 months. However there is an opening for this coming 4th of July Weekend. Must book the entire weekend , nightly rate is $315 per night. The weekend would come with the expected TOP NOTCH service and hospitality, fresh croissants, fruit, charcuterie board fixins, fresh flowers, and also a complimentary bottle of Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon ($120 retail) or a bottle of V***e Clicquot Champagne ($100 retail).First come first serve. The Carbon Flat has been selected from a very small list, by airbnb, for an exclusive project, highlighting those that have been dedicated to having accessibility features for travellers with disabilities. Airbnb has partnered with Matterport, A company that specializes in 3-D scan technology. They will be coming soon to do a full workup of the property. The best possible images will be taken and added to my listing, To help those with disabilities understand The features that we have, Take a 3-D virtual tour, And in my opinion bring awareness to the lack of Options there are out there for those traveling with disabilities.

We are honored to have been chosen. Our committment to paralyzed veterans in this is paramount. ANYONE with a disability shouldn't be prevented from experiencing the same things you and I do. When designing and building The Carbon Flat, The decision was made from day one to be fully ADA compliant. I will admit that it's not easy or cheap to blend form and function, in terms of this. It Is not for the faint hearted contractor.

From the custom built dining table that rises and lowers and will accommodate any sized wheelchairs, including standing wheelchairs, to EVERYTHING being fully smart enabled, To the recent decision To add a fully overhead and completely hidden when not in use, Hoyer lift, The Carbon Flat is wholeheartedly committed to those with disabilities , disabled veterans, And to helping Beckley and the surrounding area become a better, more diverse tourist destination, as it always has been, and even more so now, With the inclusion of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve.

We've had white water running through our veins for many years and we know how to end an awesome day on the rapids. Stocked up on a few South Carolina brews to add to my complimentary (free) offering of local West Virginia brews for my guests at The Carbon Flat. This is in addition to the complimentary mini bar, with just about every mini bottle made, with full size bottles of Elijah Craig small batch bourbon, Bombay Sapphire, Titos, amongst others. We Also have a full line of angosturra bitters, mixers, simple syrups, and agave. The Carbon Flat cares about what you like to drink. If there is any reason that alcohol should not be in the flat we are sensitive to that as well and will make sure it is not present.

In my efforts to continually invest in and make better certain things that makes the guest experience one of a kind , I have installed a new 15" Alexa At the entrance and then taken the 8" and installed it on the loveseat which articulates so that both guests can use it. As always, both of these units have manual camera shutters as to guarantee guests' privacy.

In honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on January 9th, I'm going to be giving away 2 of my charred-cuterie boards which in the context of the giveaway perfectly represent the thin blue line.

I haven't yet decided if I'm going to do it by Trivia, or a certain amount of likes for the page, however, this is just for Beckley and surrounding areas, And if you do decide to "play", I would ask that this board goes directly to family or friend that is law enforcement. My husband and I travel a lot. Pre pandemic we were Dream Trips members for years. Staying at many 5 star resorts with true pampering. The Carbon Flat is equivalent to many global 5 star resorts we have had the pleasure of visiting. To start, the personal touches for our fur babies to our favorite drinks to the personalized welcome letter. Next, the actually flat… the attention to detail in the art of decorating, Alexa personal concierge, the flare of having every detail of comfort to the coffee / tea to the incredible furniture nestling you away into the utter most relaxing time. We came to the area to ski / snowboard. The mild winter snow was a bummer, but our trip to the carbon flat along with the memories we made, meeting Adam and feeling incredibly safe in his flat, definitely warrants a trip back in the near future! We can’t wait to come back!

The Carbon Flat Would like to thank everyone in Beckley. I am certain that not many believed that what has been achieved here was possible. My mission was to not only invest and create a sustainable business, but to invest in the area, to help clean up this little part of Beckley. I have seen overwhelming support from the community.

I do not have official data or statistics, But take it from someone who has had feet on the ground for more than a year now, Crime in this area is down substantially. With the help of the cameras that have been installed, We are 12 for 12 on calls that had to be made to Beckley Police Department , And arrests made. This is where I would especially like to thank The City of Beckley Police Department. Without their support and belief in what I am doing , this operation would not be a success. Over the last month and a half and especially during the Gauley season, We realized nightly rates of $328, $318 on the weekends. These are Greenbrier Resort Rates.

I said it from the get-go and say it in advertisements, the quality of our product and our style of service and hospitality rivals those of 5 star resorts. However, I can make it the Ritz, but without creating a safer atmosphere outside it's worth nothing. There are still some obstacles at hand, Still some things that need bulldozed. Take my word Beckley, I have never quit anything in my life and don't intend on starting now. Our resolve will stand true.

I would really love to see some responses from Beckley Police As to what they believe.
