There will be new requirements to travel to Europe starting in 2025. 30 countries will need an ETIAS Travel Authorization (European Travel Information + Authorization System) which will be linked to your passport and be valid for 3 years. It allows stays up to 90 days. (longer would need a Visa).

Online or mobile applications will cost $7 euros and should be processed within minutes. But in some cases, could take up to 14 days, so be sure to request in advance of travel. (Before you purchase flights/hotels).

The UK will need them beginning Jan 8th and travelers can start the online request on Nov 27th. Other countries don't have a set date yet. Request and find more info at https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias/faqs-etias_en

US airlines and others have suspended flights to Israel but Ben Gurion airport is still open. Delta has canceled up to Oct 31st and American Airlines till Dec 4th. Israel’s national airline, El Al, is still operating as scheduled from a single terminal.

The Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) is working to assist those who wish to depart from Israel. Travelers should continue to check the status of flights and the status of the airport at www.iaa.gov.il/en/. IMOT is currently operating a “virtual office” reachable via WhatsApp at +972-55-972-6931 or email at [email protected]. Travelers currently in Israel can dial 104 for information or contact Home Front Command on WhatsApp or SMS on +972-52-910-4104.

Cruise lines and tour companies have rerouted stops to Israel with most still traveling but with altered itineraries.

Las Vegas isn’t my favorite place but it’s only 2.5 hrs from Zion National Park which makes it great to fly out of. The airport is only 15min away. Even if you’re not a gambler, there’s plenty of restaurants to choose from, interesting hotels to explore and shows to see. We saw one of the several unique Cirque du Soleil shows. It’s been an amazing trip, but home sounds good for now

Canyoneering is hiking, scrambling and rappelling through rocky canyons and is great to do in Zion National Park. A guide picked us up at our hotel and safely got us through. That first step off rappelling is a bit nerve wracking but so fun with a feeling of accomplishment

“The Narrows” is one of the most popular hikes in Zion National Park. It’s actually in the Virgin River in the narrowest part of Zion canyons with walls a thousand feet tall. You can get to the entrance with a short 1 mile paved hike just to see it. The River depth and temperature depends on the season. Much of the river is difficult to navigate with boulders, rocks and string current. But some is easier in shallow or calm water. We opted for renting boots and waders since we wanted to hike awhile and it was chilly. It was a good choice since we ended up hiking and exploring for 7 hours!

Zion National Park is only 2 hrs from Bryce and may be one of my favorites. We did the quick Canyon overlook trail on the ride in then rented e-bikes for a sunset ride into the park. Perfect time to see wildlife. Only shuttle buses are allowed on the scenic drive road so plenty of rom for bikes. Another amazing day!

Canyonlands National Park is 35 min from Moab and looks just like the Grand Canyon. There are scenic views without even having to hike. Dead horse State Park is only about 20 min from there and has an amazing viewpoint as well. You can find outrigger tours to paddle around, but there are only a few places that have actual Outrigger canoe surfing lessons on the waves. So fun!

Unbelievable!! We swam and played with a baby dolphin and his mom for over an hour! We jumped in when we saw them as we were having lunch. He didn’t want to leave us.
