Round - The - Bend Beech Mountain Vacation Rental

The "Round - The - Bend" house is a vintage Top Sider round home, that we are renovating for use as a part-time vacation rental.

The house is located directly across the street from Poppy's Coffee Shop, just next store to the Ski Beech parking lot.

What a mess, but the Round House will have a new metal roof for winter. We are going with black, which should keep her a little warmer and add a more modern feel! Still a few dates left for leaf season!

So, a real treat this morning at the Round House! We actually got to watch a Fawns first steps! She was nestled between the base of some trees for a while and then, Wallah, up on her feet for the first time!

Fred General Store is the go to place on the mountain. From food to hardware, they seem to have it all! Even rent ski equipment! Five minutes from the Round House!

Only put the bird feeder up yesterday, but they have already eaten half the food! Nice day on the mountain!

Took some time, but the Coffee and Tea bar is complete. We used an old handmade cupboard, rearranging shelves etc. for the finished product in a bright navy blue.

Happy Fourth of July from the mountains! The Banner Elk Fire Department has their equipment out for the day and Beech Mountain is gorgeous!

A wonderful 58 degrees this evening at the Round House, so we broke out the flame genie! I must say our first impression is very positive. Puts out quite a bit more heat than you might think, with very little smoke!
