Beech Mountain Resort Update | December 5, 2024

After several days of snowmaking and natural snowfall, Robbins Run is open. We are pleased to expand our available terrain as conditions continue to improve.

Please note that we are under a wind advisory today, which may result in delays on Lift 5. We encourage guests to check for updates throughout the day.

The terrain park is not expected to open this weekend. In the meantime, a limited number of features will be set up in Lower Powder Bowl for the rail jam. Following the event, snowmaking efforts will shift to the park—now named For Pete’s Sake—at the earliest opportunity. Updates on snowmaking and progress will be provided throughout next week.

We appreciate your patience as we work to prepare the park and enhance the guest experience.

This is Great news! Contact us to Book for Ski Season! The roads to Warm Welcomes Cabin on Beech Mtn will be open and safe!

Travel Alert! DOT repair work on Beech Mtn Parkway begins today at 14 locations with washed out shoulders, culvert damage, etc from Banner Elk to the end on NC 184 near Beech Mtn Ski Resort. Expect to complete in 2-3 weeks. Expect short delays with one lane sections.
