Good morning from beautiful Beech Mountain, NC! The snow guns are blasting and the ski resort is scheduled to open on Friday am for the 2021/2022 season. THINK SNOW!

Update November 16, 2021 👉

Opening Day:

Friday, November 26, 2021, is our projected opening date. Next week's temperatures look perfect for snowmaking, and we will continue our efforts as weather permits. As always, our goal is to provide a quality product for our guests on and off the snow.

Pricing and Hours:

Starting Opening Day through Friday, December 10, 2021, at 5 p.m., the resort will offer weekday pricing and operate for the day session only. Before December 11, all products are available for purchase in person only.

Tubing:

We do not have a definitive opening date yet for tubing but hope to open as soon as possible. We will begin our snowmaking efforts soon and keep everyone updated on our progress.

Season Pass Redemption:

Season passes are available for pick-up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding Thanksgiving Day. Beginning Opening Day, season passes are available for pick-up seven days a week.

Winter has been kind to the mountains of NW North Carolina this year. With 71.5 inches of natural snow since December 1st along with wonderful snow making both Beech Mtn Resort and Sugar Mtn are fully open with bases ranging from 4 - 7 feet. Come pay us a visit and find out for yourself why we are the skiing capital of the SE!
