3 Things I Can Do as a Travel Agent That Booking.com Can’t⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve gotten this question literally HUNDREDS of times.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I wish I was kidding.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So today, I want to tell you three things a travel agent (‘tis I) can do for you that some search engine like Google Flights or Booking.com can’t.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS → This is a huge one guys. If you’ve booked through a third party service and you get to the airport or hotel and you’re not being let in, what are your choices? You can either wait on hold for an hour with customer service only for them to say “let us call the airline and we’ll get back to you,” OR you get stuck paying for a same day flight. If you booked with ME, there’s no waiting on hold, no hour of vacation time lost, no stress. Because I don’t call some 1-800 number. I call the supplier directly and get it fixed.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I GET DISCOUNTS YOU DON’T → If you’ve worked with a travel agent in the past, you may have heard them mention “preferred partners.” These are suppliers that have been thoroughly vetted and I know I can work closely with to guarantee that you get the top-quality service you deserve. They also offer discounts that I can access as your agent and pass along to you! The other day, I was looking at hotels in Providence, RI (just for fun) and found $60 in savings on the EXACT SAME ROOM! Four star hotel...for $60 less than Booking.com…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I SAVE YOU TIME → Honestly, who enjoys spending hours in front of the computer hunting for deals? I know I don’t. But, as your travel agent, it’s literally my job to put in the hours and make sure you’re getting the BEST possible deal. Then, I present you with the best options. So easy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Have you ever used a travel agent? How do you plan your vacations?!
