National Bao Day is celebrated on August 22 every year. It’s a day to savor the deliciousness of the famed dumpling. It’s also a day dedicated to learn more about the bao, also known as ‘baozi’ or ‘hot Asian buns,’ and the culture that surrounds them. Did you know it costs you ZERO extra to book through a travel agent? Most people think that you have to pay extra for booking with a travel agent but that's not the case! Our commission is built into the price you're already paying. So booking with a travel agent allows that money to go to a small business you know versus putting the money back into Disney, Universal, etc.

I can be as involved in the process as you want me to be! If you want to research and book your own excursions for cruises 100% solo you can! If you want my recommendations for dining, excursions, which ship or cruise line to choose, which hotel to stay at, best dates to go, how to use the app for Disney, etc I'm here for it!

If you use FuelRod for their portable charging needs, FuelRod has updated its product—so you can visit the FuelRod stations in the parks/resorts, swap your current FuelRods, and get a BRAND NEW kit with the updated charging unit PLUS all the new cords for FREE!

Here are the steps:

1. Visit the FuelRod station and hit “swap”
2. Insert your old FuelRod (even if it’s not empty) and it will be rejected and pop back out to you
3. When it rejects, the screen will prompt you to upgrade
4. Insert the FuelRod again and it will give you the new kit!
Not all swap locations have been loaded with the new product, but hopefully soon.

*Now that the units are updated, buying a new FuelRod from these stations is now $38 (previously $30)

Is Memory Maker a must for you?

🪐🚀Last night while laying in bed, my 4 year old said to me, ‘remember that time we took a rocket ship to space in Disney and I had that cupcake?’ She is referring to Space 220, a restaurant inside EPCOT. She was last there at the age of 2 and celebrated my nephew’s birthday but watches the videos of that dining experience often. She then asked, ‘so is it really space?’ I explained a little bit about it being a restaurant but she is adamant we took a trip to space that night and I just love the magic of Disney! What are some of the magical things your kids still talk about from their Disney trips?

It’s Kentucky Derby day so let’s discuss the beautiful Saratoga Springs resort. This is a deluxe resort and usually one of the more affordable deluxes available. And it’s not because it’s lacking anything. Simply, this resort only offers bus transportation to the four theme parks and boat to Disney Springs. Deluxe resorts on the monorail or skyliner route or within walking distance to a park(s) are priced higher. It has beautiful grounds, the pool is amazing and the rooms are gorgeous. From a client that stayed recently - “We LOVED the suite and loved Saratoga Springs. It was my husband and my favorite so far of all of the places we've stayed.”

💦This was fun! No one knew each other but they all joined in to make the water jump! Journey of Water inside EPCOT is a walkthrough attraction and on busier days could have a virtual queue that you can try for starting at 9am. May be a possibility for the upcoming spring break weeks.

💦 Journey of Water is an interactive walkthrough attraction through a self-guided outdoor trail where you experience water coming to life. Learn more about the water cycle and conservation, all while playing with the whimsical waves. My daughter wanted to spend a lot of time here with the water features and tempting this waterfall. I’ll post a few more videos of it today.

#geniehack #disneygenie #disneygenieplus #genietips Here’s the scenario: I booked Frozen Ever After as our first Genie+ selection and got the return window of 1:15-2:15. We were hopping from HS to Epcot and this one does occasionally run out of return windows or only give much later options and I knew with my Frozen obsessed 4 year old, that it took precedent over anything else Genie wise at HS or EPCOT. Remember, with Genie+, you are assigned the first available rerun window whereas with individual lightning lane purchases you were able to pick your return window. We were ready to leave Hollywood Studios around 11:15 and I could tell the kids were getting tired so I tried to use the refresh strategy to get an earlier time which basically means you just keep pulling down on the screen and seeing if the times will change to one that better suits your plans. I did a screen record for about a minute, but the times kept pushing me too later times so I stopped the screen record but about 15 seconds after I stopped the video, I got the new time of 12:05-1:05. I did take a screenshot of the new time and included it in the video. All this to say, if the Genie+ return window doesn’t match your plans and it looks like there are only later windows available, that’s not always the case. Don’t stand there and refresh forever but it is worth it to do for a minute here and there and see what happens!

I’ve shared in a few groups already, but if you’re in any Disney groups, feel free to share. I witnessed this proposal right near the Hidden Pascals in Magic Kingdom. I believe the couple was doing a Capture Your Moment session and my intention was to find them at the end and then I lost them.
