Belfast — The Passagassawakeag River, which empties into Belfast Bay, is teaming with wildlife and interesting nature features, but until recently, seeing it required owning a boat small enough to get under the footbridge.

Just a small snippet of the low tide tour of the Passy last night. The birds were chattering away at the Head of Tide, Bald Eagles hanging out in s perch above the river, and herons and ducks feeding along the shoreline. So peaceful and beautiful!

Carretta cruising the natural waterfront of Belfast at low tide today, so interesting to see the river at the different tides. Low tide brings out the bars and shoals, high tide brings in the alewives and feeding seals!

The rainy morning was a great opportunity to test out Caretta's new canvas work. After the torrential downpours the passenger area was super dry and she is rolling out now for tour number 2 of the day.
