It is with many mixed emotions that we announce the sale of Second Wind, our vacation rental home. We took much pride in restoring the home formerly known in Belhaven as "the Calfee house". We have enjoyed hosting visitors for the past six years from across the state and country and will miss our guests. We are pleased to know our house is now in good hands of Joe and Cristi Moore. The Moores are moving to Belhaven from Wilmington, NC and will make this their permanent home. Please welcome Joe and Cristi to Belhaven. They will be a great addition to our town.

We are thankful for our new 100’ pier just completed yesterday. Thanks to Forrest and Freddy of BF Warren & Sons and Joey and the crew. We know our guests will be thankful too. Come check it out!

Belhaven is host to the inaugural Belhaven Breakwater BBQ Competition. More than 40 teams will be competing in this whole hog competition using gas or natural source. BBQ will be sold on Saturday, October 24th. Come stay with us for the weekend and enjoy all the BBQ!
