Only 4.79% ABV, it’s the perfect companion for MTBers!

For 2024 the two local celebrities on the labels are Anneke Beerten and Randy Garbage you can read brief bios on the cans. They will both be present at the release party for Q&A and other surprises 🤙

Reppin’ the MTB scene, people and events of our region

AND most importantly it’s for a good cause, proceeds from this beer fund the repair of bicycles for neighbors in need! works locally to collect, repair and distribute free and low-cost bicycles in Northwest Arkansas.

Starling Twist - Review

STEEL MTB from England, handcrafted 300 frames per year.

The Twist is their full 27.5” or mullet set up.
The Murmur is their full 29”

As tested: Twist mullet, 135 travel in rear / 140 in front, EXT shock and RockShox ZEB fork Versatile mounts allow for longer shocks up to 165 in rear.

5 riders from Team Solus rode this bike all over Northwest Arkansas - Coler, Slaughter Pen, Back 40, Lake Leatherwood and raced it in Little Rock enduro!

Feedback:
“Planted” was mentioned by all.
Snappy and responsive in the mullet set up.
No side to side wiggle, straight as an arrow.
Handled any terrain, drops, jumps, rock gardens with confidence.
The steel made for a more simple BMX looking frame design without the bulk.
The weight was not noticeably different, did not ride heavy.
Playful and stable in the air.
Capable climber, good traction.
Quite, solid ride.

Second annual “Bella Vista Loop de Loop Challenge” happened 11/18/23 Grassroots as always and every bit Epic. Tunnel Vision and Back 40 loops back to back, 50 miles and 5k el. possibly the hardest MTB event in NWA. $4.79 of every donation went to Pedal it Forward charity.
An absolutely gorgeous day saw 28 of 53 riders make the full pull.

The Bella Vista “Loop de Loop” Challenge - riding Tunnel Vision and Back 40 loops back to back!

Let’s try as a group ride, with encouragement and support. Those that wish to race go for it, comparable on Strava, prize for male/female winners. Analog and E-bike groups. Clockwise on each loop, Tunnel Vision first. The Basecamp near Lake Ann waterfalls is the start, halfway and finish. Parking along the entry road. Epic day 50 miles and 5500’ elevation gain. We’ll have food and beverages at basecamp with aid stations halfway on each Loop. Also will serve as bonk rider retrieval if needed. FREE event, however a donation to help cover costs is appreciated, $4.79 of which will go to

Try one of the single loops if the double is too much. It might be slightly beyond an e-bike range for the double, unless you use a battery management strategy. Can use multiple bikes.

LANCASHIRE CONSTRUCTION DETOUR - Tunnel Vision Right on Play Thru Left on Lago Vista through tunnel through Tanyard Creek Right on Tunnel Vision

After start and Little Sugar bridge connector take the hard left along Chelsea road Tunnel Vision, don’t head toward Tanyard Creek.
