Last post of the year, so let’s make it a good one.

Back in September, Lacey booked a trip for her dad to check a musky off his bucket list. Well, on the day of the trip, it didn’t take long—he caught his first musky maybe an hour into the day! Shortly after, we hooked another one.

While we were out, we found a big mark, but that one wasn’t willing to cooperate. I kept telling him, “This is the one you really want; the others are just fillers!”

As we approached the end of our trip, we decided to make one more pass over that big mark. Well, the stars aligned for us.

Congratulations on your first musky, and here’s to a fish of a lifetime.

Nice being back out on the water between hunting seasons these last few days! Unfortunately, it looks like today might be the last outing as I battled icebergs and freezing temps from dawn till dusk all while watching ice form.

Despite the challenges, I was lucky enough to boat one old giant! Not typically the girth I'm expecting for this time of year, but it was still a special catch. It’s always a bit sad to see these old girls on a decline, but I’ll make sure she’s remembered.

🎣🎉 **That’s a Wrap on the 2024 Fishing Season!** 🎉🎣

What a fantastic year it has been! As we close out the season, I want to take a moment to thank all of my incredible clients. This year threw us quite a few curve balls, but together we navigated through it all and made some unforgettable catches!

I’m excited to start hunting next week, but I’ll be counting the days until we’re back on the water again. Thank you all for being part of this season. I couldn’t do this without you!
