Love is in the air 💘✨⛅️ We’re lucky to witness many love stories up in the sky, but this one is particularly special because it comes from our very own Director of Operations, Ryan:

We met on a San Juan Airlines flight! Danielle was commuting from the hospital in Friday Harbor and let’s just say we had a little nudge. Both her boss and the SJA operations manager were trying to set us up, so I *somehow* ended up as the pilot on her flight… and now we’ve been married for 7.5 years!

This month would be my 10-year anniversary working for San Juan, although technically I had a short hiatus in Alaska before I quickly decided spending half of every month away from Danielle was a terrible idea.

My inability to read a ferry schedule set up an unintentional second date on Orcas Island and we were quickly on the path to hopelessly in love. We’ve mostly stuck to air travel since then, though… 🤍✈️
