An amazing day at Hatley Pointe enjoying the newly renovated ski resort - here at My Carolina Stay we appreciate the hard work and grit it takes to renovate. This renovation elevates your entire experience - great day skiiing, easy check in, rental process, great food and atmosphere, comfy lounging and bathrooms that make you think you are at a 5 star hotel - both Village House and Mountain Dream cabins are less than an hr away. Go check this place out! You won’t be disappointed!

Credit to our awesome guest who booked our Spruce Pine cottage, willingly shifted to our Lake Nantahala cabin and now says it’s his new favorite spot. Amazing pics - thanks for sharing Keith!

I figured I was overdue in sharing the faces of this company. All 6 of us. When you support a family owned business, it’s not always a brick and mortar store. Maybe it’s the family that likes to fix up houses and rent them out, loves hearing when your family makes memories and sharing tips on adventures in the Carolinas. That would be our family. When you stay with us, you are supporting a family owned business - not some large corporation, not a hotel chain, not people managing properties they don’t care about - but literally a mom and pop business where we make our listings ours with blood, sweat, tears and a lot of heart…meanwhile training our kids in ways to pitch in - from the renovation to ordering supplies and rolling out the trash. We appreciate your support and hope you can continue to explore the Carolinas by checking out our listings from the mountains to the coast. We hope you agree that once you stay with us - we offer value, professionalism and the best bang for your buck. We are nearing the end of the renovation for our two new cabins off the Blue Ridge Parkway - they came with the name Mountain Dream Cabin - before we go live I’ve been trying to decide is this the name we want to stick with or should I change it? 🤔 But then views like this… it is fitting…

Have you ever been to Flat Rock, NC? Our @thevillagehouseflatrock is around the corner from @carlsandburghomenhs (you can even walk to it from the house) and it’s the best place to breathe in the fresh air, visit the goat barn, hike glassy mountain and then grab lunch at the village bakery. A charming town surrounded by multiple vineyards, amazing trails and even grab a show @frplayhouse the state theatre! It’s a great place to check out and come stay with us when you do!
