Henry will be missed by everyone that ever enjoyed spending time in the field watching him do what he did best. He was one of, if not the most versatile dogs to ever run the ground of Toney Creek. Whether it was working the Milo for a driven hunt, picking up birds on a tower hunt, flushing quail, or retrieving ducks, Henry was a joy to hunt with. Our hearts go out to Dillon and his family for the loss of such an amazing friend.

What a duck season it was!! From the huge curveball the corn crop failure presented, to the multiple hard freezes it definitely had its ups and downs. Honestly the hunting was phenomenal from beginning to end! We close out the season completely this weekend with our annual Youth/Veteran hunt. Special Thanks to all our fantastic guides and support staff that makes these hunts as special as they are. Especially Miss Dakota Holliday who fed over 1300 duck hunters this season and never once had a single hiccup! Non of this would be possible without the great customers we have. Some of which have been hunting with us for 17years! The 2025-2026 season starts Sunday!!

Blinds are brushed and impoundments are filling. The ducks are loving the Japanese Millet and Milo combination this year. It’s amazing to see how quickly this stuff jumped in less than 55 days. We pushed it absolutely as hard as we could with fertilizer after a disastrous corn planting followed by a 28 day drought. Duck Season 2024-2025 is ready to roll!!

We’re offering an early bird special for our Tower Hunts this season. Book two or more spots on each hunt or six or more spots on any single hunt for $250 per spot.

The duck groceries are in, all that’s left is for Mother Nature to do her part! Duck Season is right around the corner.

We were able to squeeze a few hunts in this morning before the rain set in. Hoping for a clear forecast for the last weekend of the season next week. That would be the only weekend it hasn’t rained at some point, for the last six weeks. We have a spot open for a Good Friday hunt if anyone wants to sneak in before the season ends.

Seems like we saved the best for last! Our last Tower Hunt of the year was filled to the brim with some awesome shooters. Houston Hovis made some grown men and women shed a tear when he smoked the money bird. Nate and Dakota’s lasagna was a hit as always. Our schedule for next season’s tower hunts will be out soon, give us a shout to get your spots reserved!

Friday may have been a washout, but Saturday and Sunday were both beautiful days for some great upland hunts! Hunts like these wouldn’t be possible without our wonderful guides and their four legged helpers. We have a few weekend hunts available before the season ends at the end of March.

We’ve had some phenomenal upland hunts the past week or so. Nothing better than spending a morning watching the dogs work and anticipating the flush! Upland season lasts a few more weeks, give us a shout to get on the books before the warm weather sets in.

Packed house for our last duck hunt of the season. We look forward to the youth/vet hunt just as much as opening day each year. It’s uplifting to see the next generation take their first steps into becoming future outdoorsmen and women. To be able to say Thank You to our veterans on the same day is an added bonus. With this season being as fantastic as it was, it is definitely bittersweet to see it come to an end.

Couldn’t have ended an awesome season any better! Ducks 23-24 came to an end in spectacular fashion. From beginning to end it was one of the best season’s we’ve had in our 16years of hunting ducks.
