Escape To Bend offers an amazing resort location perfectly situated in Bend, OR. It offers an amazing panoramic view of the Deschutes River and it's just minutes from downtown Bend and Mt. Escape to Bend in Mt. Bachelor Village Resort does not have a shuttle to the mountain. However, the mountain shuttle that leaves from the Mt. Bachelor Park-n-ride located on SW Columbia Street between Galveston and Simpson, is approximately 1.5 miles from the condo.

COVID restrictions means no eating in the ski lodges, but you can still get grub at Mt. Bachelor! There is the Subie Shack outside the main lodge, plus a few food trucks near the parking lot (Big Foot Barbecue, Ponserosa Eatery and Kitchen, and Dump City Dumplings)
Ski season is upon us! Mt. Bachelor is excited to welcome skiers and snowboarders back, but parking reservations are required this year. Don’t forget to book yours when planning your trip!

The New Restrictions in the City of Bend! Beginning on Wednesday, November 18 and extending through at least December 2, the Governor’s requirements include:
Limiting restaurants to take-out only, outdoor dining is not permitted.
Closing gyms and fitness organizations.
Closing indoor recreational facilities, museums, indoor entertainment activities, and indoor pools and sports courts.
Closing outdoor recreational facilities, zoos, gardens, aquariums, outdoor entertainment activities, and outdoor pools.
Limiting grocery stores and pharmacies to a maximum of 75% capacity and encouraging curbside pick-up.
Limiting retail stores and retail malls (indoor and outdoor) to a maximum of 75% capacity and encouraging curbside pick-up.
Limiting social get-togethers (indoors and outdoors) to no more than six people, total, from no more than two households.
Limiting churches and other faith-based venues to a maximum of 25 people indoors or 50 people outdoors.
Closing venues (that host or facilitate indoor or outdoor events).
Requiring all businesses to mandate work-from-home to the greatest extent possible and closing offices to the public.
Prohibiting indoor visiting in long-term care facilities.
Broken Top Trail to No Name Lake and Bend Glacier is a fantastic hike located 40 minutes or so from Escape to Bend. A four-wheel drive vehicle is required to navigate the final 5 miles on rugged terrain to reach the trailhead, but this 6 mile (round trip) hike will not disappoint!
Food and drinks are now offered poolside at Escape to Bend! Friday - Sunday 11:30 to 5:30. You can still bring your own in if you’d rather, but it’s nice to have the option for full service (you are on vacation after all...)
Sparks Lake is about a thirty minute drive from Escape to Bend and offers a short loop hike (2.5 miles) with lava rock formations along the way. The lake itself is perfect for paddleboards and kayaks, with calm waters and scenic views.
Zip line at Mt Bachelor is open and taking reservations! It’s the northwest’s steepest, fastest, zip line adventure down 1,400 vertical feet.

The river trail is as beautiful and peaceful as ever. Notice that this summer it is one-way and socially distanced due to COVID precautions.
Mt. Bachelor Resort Pool is OPEN! Dig your suit and googles out because it’s time to go swimming! Limited hours for now (11am to 6pm) and please keep a six foot distance from other pool guests.
