Good morning membership,

We thank those who participated in the recent contract negotiation vote. The votes resulted in a NO vote. Here are the results of the ballot count:

24 members voted YES
629 members voted NO
1,564 members were eligible to vote.

This results in only 41.75% of the overall participation. Some of the ballots turned in were voided due to members not being in good standing with their union dues or many ballots were returned due to a bad address. This low turnout limits the strength of our collective voice and the effectiveness of our decisions. Each vote directly impacts your wages, benefits, and overall job security.

We strongly encourage everyone to participate fully in future votes and discussions to ensure we represent all members.

Thank you again to those who did participate. Let's ensure that our collective bargaining power is strong. Your participation is vital to achieving a fair contract.

🎣 Thank you to everyone who joined us on the fishing trip yesterday, July 7th! It was an incredible day out on the water, and we're thrilled to report that we landed some impressive catches, including a limit of 40 halibut, with the largest weighing up to 30 lbs. Everyone went home with a big halibut! 🐟 Congratulations to Doug Boyem for winning the cash jackpot! Your participation made this trip unforgettable. Special thanks to New Easy Rider for making it such a memorable outing. Looking forward to more fishing adventures together in the future! 🌊
