The May 23, 2022 Morton, Texas tornadic beast supercell rolled on for hours. After it dropped a half dozen tornadoes, the dust settled a bit. West of Lubbock at sunset it sure was pretty!

July 10, 2018 saw us head to Canada. We caught the triple point supercell near Killdeer, Saskatchewan and ran with it down the warm front. It produced just under a dozen tornadoes and was a treat!!! Check out this video of it!

A wild day in southern Saskatchewan as we chased the triple point supercell that dropped over a half dozen tornadoes!!! Beautiful countryside and fortunately...

What a day! Terrible video still (didn't shoot photos until 2006 much), but June 9, 2005 in northwest Kansas was amazing! Numerous tornadoes, sometimes 2 or more at once. But this wedge near Hill City, KS was a beast. Check out this video too! https://youtu.be/3TUhN9VHPhI

Wedge city!!! August 24, 2006 near Wolsey, SD. One of the biggest tornadoes this late in the season I've seen. Only a video still, but you get the idea. The supercell was a jaw dropper too!!!!! 5 tornadoes later....Here's the video that goes with this: https://youtu.be/r04vWQousNg

WARNING! CRAZY VIDEO!!!! May 12, 2005 we captured the South Plains, TX beast. Cool thing was we designed a probe for a Japanese film crew and got them right in front of it to drop the probe. The video is NUTS!!! Enjoy!!! (Wish it was high quality!!! Grrrr)

Next wedge tornado! Shot with a Nikon F5 old film camera and a fisheye lens, this Brown County South Dakota F4 wedge occurred on June 23, 2002. It was the strongest tornado ever recorded there. We witnessed 5 tornadoes this day with a couple within a 1.4 mile from us. (Pics of those later!)

The wedge. Largest of all tornadoes. Defined as a tornado that is wider than it is from the ground to cloud base. I'm going to do a series of "wedge" photos and video stills we've seen over the years on our tours. Starting with the first one we saw on May 11, 2000. This F4 tornado occurred near Waterloo, Iowa and was one of nearly a dozen we witnessed this day!

This looks like a Kansas or Texas huge cone tornado, but in reality it was in the mountains west of Roswell, NM May 23, 2018! A great day!!! The storm structure was jaw dropping as well!

Manchester, SD, June 24, 2003. An incredible day where we saw 16 tornadoes, with Caryn's first time seeing tornadoes with me while driving Van #1! Although this is a video still, the intensity and power of this F4 wedge, now drill press was incredible. Tim Samaras was on the other side dropping his probe, landing him in the Guinness Book of World Records!

Absolute gnarly wedge tornado buried in the rain/huge hail. Looking down the notch to the southwest of this supercell near Gann Valley SD June 18, 2014. A day we witnessed nearly a dozen tornadoes!
