2024 brought it’s challenges with the May storm damage, but events like that have a way of galvanizing a community together. And that it did. We’re thankful for the monumental efforts of volunteers and workers to get our trails back.

Best Creators in OZ, by nomination, during the month of April… BLK ELK and its team members (@blkelkdan, @caplephoto, @gotsuggphoto, @loganclarkdial) have been creating in NWA for the past decade. Their production company focuses on outdoor and adventure productions that have taken their team from the remote wilderness of Alaska down to the beautiful beaches of Baja, Mexico and pretty much everywhere in between. Their work has been accepted into prestigious film festivals like @mountainfilm and @banffmountainfestival. The Best Creators in OZ during the month of April. @garretthubbard and his family were lured away from D.C. seven years ago when they learned what was happening in OZ, moving his video storytelling business here and focusing on cycling related projects. Today, he is an award winning filmmaker and is currently producing a film about OZ and the wonderful people working to transform NWA into an even better place to call home.
