Romantic Valentine’s Getaway in Berkeley Springs

Do you feel the love in the air? Are you itching to surprise your partner with a one of a kind gift that will bring a contagious smile to their face? Can you already smell the chocolate candies and ruby red roses?
A close friend of mine married the love of her life a year ago. Every Valentine’s Day,
they would make sure to leave some time open in their busy schedule to spend time with one another. He would bring her a beautiful bouquet of roses he bought from CJ’s Floral and she would buy him his favorite fudge from MIschief-Sweets and Shenanigans.
My aunt and uncle spend their Valentine’s Day a little differently. My aunt finds the paper hearts and candy cheesy. She says “thirty years of marriage deserves more than pink flowers.” Instead, my uncle surprises her every year with a trip to one of Berkeley Springs’ many sights. This year, I believe he is debating between the Panorama Peak or the PawPaw Tunnel. Whether they have been to that spot before or not, my aunt claims that being with him
makes even a chilly winter day feel cozy.
On the other hand, there have even been some couples who have had a rougher path, but still prove that romance isn’t a falsity. Two of my acquaintances were going through a bump in the road. They said it felt like even though they live together, they rarely ever spent time with one another from how hectic life has become. So, on Valentine’s Day, they booked a couple’s massage at Atasia Spa. Being able to
relax with one another and put their worries on hold rejuvenated their relationship.
A cousin of mine books one of the more secluded properties of Berkeley Springs Cottage Rentals (Country Comfort, Haven, and A Humble Abode are among their favorites). He and his partner love to spend their holiday nestled in the breathtaking mountains of Berkeley Springs from the comfort of a peaceful home away from home.
Looking at these couples who seemed to have walked straight out of a Hallmark movie, I have realized the true scheme of Valentine’s Day. It is meant to force you to take time out of your busy schedule to show the one you love
how much you appreciate them.
So, let this be your reminder to show that special someone how
important they are to you.

Map out a day to journey around the town or visit the breathtaking views. Book a massage to heal and feel refreshed.
