We had a pretty good day on rockfish and crab. We had a lot of weather on the rockfish grounds which made fishing difficult but managed around 7 rockfish per person, some weren’t feeling so great. Also caught a couple of lingcod. From there we fished for Dungeness crab and loaded down with 21 limits plus crew for a total of 240 Dungeness 🦀

We had another amazing day on the ocean. Rockfish bit wide open again. We had an amazing crab combo trip with limits of rockfish in under an hour and limits of crab. Total fish count (150 rockfish 🐟 and 150 crab 🦀 and 5 lingcod) the ocean stayed flat calm all day. The coastal bite has been good the last few days. Deepwater rockfish opens up December 1st and we are anticipating great fishing as long as weather permits. Conditions for coastal fishing improved today. Our 20 anglers landed 105 rockfish and 7 lingcod on top of limits of crab (200 🦀). We’ve got room this Tuesday for crab and rockfish. All of our boats have been tied up since Wednesday because of heavy south winds. Looks like this storm breaks up Friday afternoon. Saturday and Sundays trips are a go. All of Thanksgiving week is forecasted to be flat calm. Sometimes we have a bad weather year and we’ve had to cancel trips the last 2 weeks. Don’t buy your 1 day fishing license until the night before your trip because you won’t get your money back from the state.

Saturday was the first day we were able to make it out this week due to high winds and big swells. The rockfishing was difficult because of the swell we had this week and we landed a full limit of crab. (270 🦀 and 12 rockfish).
