Happy National Public Lands Day! Today is a great day to get outside and enjoy public lands!

Don't forget that today is an entrance fee free day! We are also hosting an island clean up. If you would like to help clean up some of your public lands, join us!

For the Maryland District, meet in the North Beach parking lot near the pavilion.

For the Virginia District, meet at the Toms Cove Visitor Center.

This event will run from 9am-12pm. Bring your work gloves, water, and snacks. We will provide the trash bags.

This is so cool!

Here’s another pic from the deepest spot at the Verrazano (Assateague) Bridge. Around 25-30ft. This was shot last December when we had 2 weeks of really clean water. Can’t wait to get back out there this winter.
