Please note these important recent updates to airline policies for dealing with overbooking. Many reforms were implemented due to the leadership of former Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to better compensate travelers by the airlines for overbooking and advocacy for other consumer-friendly practices.

When airlines sell more tickets than available seats, passengers can get kicked off their flights — whether they want to or not.

Today marking the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion of Normandy, I pay homage to my father, PFC Eulas Mullins, and his fellow soldiers with the famous 29th Infantry Division who displayed incredible bravery and determination to free Europe from N**i domination. And how we as a nation need to remember how important it remains today to defend our allies, especially in Europe and Ukraine today.
How I wish Dad, who would have turned 105 in August, was here today to share his remarkable stories of landing at Omaha Beach in the second wave, as eerily depicted in the WWII classic, "Saving Private Ryan".
Please let me express my gratitude for your distinguished service and being the ultimate role model for our family and all Americans as a hero from the Greatest Generation. You are greatly missed ❤️🙏🇺🇸
