The Albuquerque Astronomical Society (TAAS) own Star Master, Tom Grzybowski will offer a presentation of the important stars that will be visibleโJupiter, Uranus, Sirius , double stars, and star clusters. By then the sky will be dark and viewing will continue into the night. There will be a variety of types and sizes of telescopes to guide you to the wonders of our dark skies.

We are kicking off ยกViva Corrales! days with this combined event, inviting our residents and visitors to get outside, enjoy our village and take advantage of the many health and wellness services available to us. Rides, Strides and Giddyup will give a number of demonstrations to safely enjoy our walking and riding paths, and what to do if you encounter horses, bikes and other pedestrians along the way. Our local growers will begin their regular season, along with Sandoval County's Master Gardeners, who will be selling plant starts for your garden! All of these events will take place at the Corrales Rec Center and Top Form Arena alongside the New Gym. Local food trucks will be on site throughout the day. This is a free event with a few ticketed items on the schedule.

PNM Celebrated Native American Heritage Month today with a demonstration of How Frybread is Made. Nancy Lewis, Bureau of Indian Education and Barbara Silversmith of PNM led the demonstration. Famous cartoonist, Ricardo Cate of Santo Domingo, featured his paintings and as a bonus brought chile for Navajo Tacos.
