Western Maine Yurts Taking four season lodging to the next level of cozy comfort in the woods of Bethel, Maine.

Nestled in the woods of Bethel, Maine, Western Maine Yurts offers an elevated glamping experience with the comfort and amenities beyond your typical camping experience. Our private, solar powered yurts are equipped with two queen sized beds (one lofted or bunked), living room seating area, and kitchenette. Each yurt is outfitted with a propane stove, keeping you toasty warm and offering the ultima

te in cozy winter camping. Outhouses are conveniently located at each yurt site not adjacent to a bathhouse and each centralized bath house offers radiant heat, flushing toilets, showers, and a water filling station at each sink. We are dog friendly, and pet waste bags are mounted inside each rental. Reserve a stay now and experience the beauty of western Maine from our modern industrial-rustic style yurt rentals. We are conveniently located just a short drive outside of the classic New England village of Bethel, Maine and Sunday River and Mount Abram ski resorts.

Plan a winter break full of winter fun for the whole family!

Enjoy the Western Maine Yurts Glampground. Bring your puzzles, games, and books and enjoys some unplugged family time. (We do have cell service if streaming a movie or catching up on your favorite sports is important).

Snow shoe along our on site trails or through the many local forests.

Ski, snowboard, cross country ski at Mt Abram, Sunday River, or Carter's XC Ski Center. Go tubing at Black Mountain.

Bring skates and skate at the outdoor community rink.

Want to get in from the cold? Visit the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum, catch a movie at The Gem, bowl at River Lanes.

And be sure to get some awesome food at one of our local restaurants!

Don't let the cold outside temperatures scare you away from a winter yurt visit! Inside it is toasty warm with our 65,000BTU propane fireplaces. No need to stay up through the night adding wood to a fire, and you'll always come back from skiing and other winter excursions to a nice cozy space.

(And the bathhouses have radiant heat floors and ample hot water!)
