I toyed around with the idea of taking a last minute somewhat spontaneous trip to attend Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. I thought I’d even bring the kids! (But probably leave Clare with her grandparents if I’m honest). While it could still happen, I’m leaning towards putting the money I would’ve spent towards Clare’s 1st birthday trip and making that extra magical.

What would you do?

🐸 Saving $370 and switching to Port Orleans Riverside

Replacing a resort day with a park day is the key motivator here for even considering a switch. It’ll cost about $300 more for the extra park day.

Ka-chow!! ⚡️ Just booked a trip for a super sweet family for next November, staying in a Cars Family Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which helped me to stamp another month on my 2025 calendar!

I set a goal to have every month stamped before 2025 began, and I think I can actually hit it! Do you think I should do a giveaway if I do?! 🤔

2! M O N T H S! Clare’s little personality is starting to shine. She loves peek-a-boo and bath time. She hates having a poopy diaper even for a second. We had a few nights of 6-7 hour stretches of sleep! We are still dealing with some reflux but it’s improving. Her favorite place to be at any point in time is in someone’s arms and she despises being put down and you walking away. Clare starts daycare in a few weeks when I go back to work but I’ve enjoyed this time with her and will never regret taking the unpaid time to be with her.

Happy Wine and Dine Half Marathon week!! If you weren’t following me last year, I did the 5k and 10k during Wine and Dine weekend, and it was special for a lot of reasons… But the 5k in particular! My Dad had had an accident that should’ve left him paralyzed. 3 surgeries and a hospital stay with pneumonia later, he walked and finished the Wine and Dine 5k! This is the magic of Disney! 🌟

Tripp has been excited about being a big kid and getting to do some more grown up rides during our next Disney trip! He is now officially 40” tall which includes SO MANY NEW RIDES! I’m seriously considering adding a day before our Disney cruise so he can try a lot of these.

He is now tall enough for:
