Current snow conditions in Big Bear…at least another 2 feet of snow causing the stop sign on our corner to disappear. Roads are currently closed and hoping they’ll open up soon. Who wants to go sledding? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

We love the wildlife in Big Bear and this coyote is a beauty!! It’s also a gentle reminder that we are enjoying their home.

Mother Nature is beautiful and with the last storm, she let us know now is the time to come visit for snow!

We remain grateful for the first responders and essential personnel who are devoting their time, energy and service to the Big Bear community. Our cabin is in an evacuation warning area and are continuing to monitor the situation. The fire is 1100 acres and 2% contained.

We’re monitoring the Radford Fire as it’s at Snow Summit and near Bear Mountain Ski resorts, which is about 1.5 miles from the cabin. Thank you to all the firefighters and first responders working the fire.
