After a successful Care For Big Bear community cleanup this last August, we're excited to announce that we're partnering with the Southern California Mountains Foundation on September 25 for Public Lands Day on a Community Cleanup.

This cleanup will focus on city park areas as the National Forest is closed to the public.

Another Great Review on AirBnB:

"Great Location! Bedrooms are huge and have comfy king size beds, one has queen and a bunk bed w full bed at bottom. Kid fold out flat twin mattress were handy to bring down to living room for extra seating. Living room w 2 oversized recliners, and a sofa. Having Roku TV was great for Netflix, Hulu & Disney Plus. Kitchen good for cooking family meals. Back yard is huge with wooden fence for doggies. Also, AWESOME when snow fell and had snowball fun n built Olaf snowman with granbabies:) There are no snow play hills on property but is next to snow play slides for a fee or go out on a nature hike/drive to find hills for sledding :) (keep in mind -Have tire chains & at the Discovery Center you can purchase your Adventure Pass, if you travel into the forest, your parked vehicle must display a Forest Adventure Pass - a 1 day pass is $5 and a season pass is $35.) Neighbors are so friendly and welcoming. They cleared snow from driveway & path for us. Even the neighbor's friendly Great-Dane doggy "Dusty" greeted us at backyard fence. Boots needed for mud or snow at driveway and front yards walkway entrance during winter. Porch good area to leave muddy boots outside. ALL AROUND GREAT BIG FAMILY CABIN! Looking forward to coming back again" :)

"We had a lovely experience, the location was perfect, and the back yard area was even better. During a snow season, passed the trees in the back yard area and up a hill, had a natural slide for sledding, which MADE our trip. I would totally recommend this place, and may definitely even come back."

Mario and Ivette are wonderful hosts! They always respond quickly to any questions you may have, and the place we stayed in was clean and exactly what was represented on the web page. We especially liked that this location was within walking distance to the Big Bear Convention center where Oktoberfest took place.

We had a great stay. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and gated yard for our dog (non shedding only). Cozy with burning fireplace was a plus.
