It's National Get Outdoors & Play Day! And that's one of our absolute favorite things to do up at the !

The boys LOVE playing the outdoor games (provided in the shed outside). Co****le is our fav!

We love taking nature walks & going down by the lake (the Stanfield Marsh Wildlife & Waterfowl Preserve Boardwalk is beautiful this time of year! And less than 2 miles from the cabin!)

And of course, exploring around outside between the trees of our beautiful cabin!

This was the cabin front yard yesterday. Our boys had a blast running around & playing amongst the trees in the snow, with ease of our minds knowing they were safely fenced in.

Today, we received another 1-2 feet of snow & we can’t even believe it!! ❄️ We can’t wait to go back & enjoy it, we know our boys can’t wait, and we sure as heck know you can’t wait either!!

Unfortunately all roads are still closed for visitors BUT this seems to be the end of the recently predicted storms, so get ready to buckle up & come on up & play!!

So far we’re up to 2+ feet of snow with one last major storm expected to hit by tonight! With consistent low temps following us into the next few weeks, the Castillo Landing yard is going to be an amazing snow filled playground for tons of family fun! 😍
