What a weekend! Thank you to all of our skiers and riders who came out the last 2
weeks and helped make this early November so special and fun. 🥰 As a reminder, Canyon Lodge, Canyon lifts and the Village Gondola are now closed. We will have an update on Thanksgiving week operations as we get a bit closer.

…The legend that is, Matt Brooks.

On the last run, of the last day skiing in epic snow conditions at Snowbird, this man came across a young couple stranded in the woods during a tree run. 🌲 ⛷ 🌲.

The woman had lost control going over a snow drift which appeared to be above a stream bed. She was thrown into a nearby tree. She was moaning in pain, and it was obvious that she had several broken bones. Her boyfriend, frozen in the moment of crisis, had not yet alerted the proper emergency responders of what had happened. They had been there a while, and the upper mountain lifts were about to close.

The Legend, took it upon himself to hike uphill at just under 11,000 feet to alert ski patrol in below freezing temperatures about someone in need. This thankless act, went unnoticed by the couple, but will always be remembered by the few that knew and witnessed these heroic acts of a husband/father just being himself, while on vacation.
