🥊 was that trail

With cb next weekend…

Sometimes you got to chose to
Take it easy
Try not to let the sound of your drag mat
Drive you crazy
Maybe I should have done the old canon ball start
Trying to be wiser
Not sure if I’m gettin any better lol

Alright alright alright

This is Mackey, W***y, Dorthy, and Rodney’s very first race
These youngsters are very even keeled
Very study
Maybe very impressed too.

The adults are all going great
I’m doing great
Even though we’re technically in like 9thhopfully we keep it in the top ten

Will we
Send youngsters home and try to chase down some pride money with adults
Only time will tellmight just take the whole crew for a mellowish second half
I don’t know

Anyway
Sarah was enjoying herself last I checked
That’s a win!
Her first 200 has had some ups and some downs
She’s getting the hang of it

Time for couple zzzzzzz

Summer 2020 tours are complete and we would like to thank each of our guest's from all around the country that took the time during these times to support our small local tour. As this was a summer that was challenging for many we had created a safe outdoor adventure for folks to enjoy with taking extra precautions like "sanitizing with solutions from Pure Products and Midnight Sun Brewing Company between each tour" and adding a 3rd tour option to spread out. it took a 7 day commitment of being ON call everyday so we could have a option for folks to get out and enjoy. Hugh thanks to Alyeska Resort and the town of Girdwood, Alaska, The Great Alaska tourist Trap. Connie Cooley, Chris Twirl Roberts. The Crow Creek Community Girdwood Mining Company. Dana and Lisa. Redington sleddog crew Kingsley, Kusko Tuffy and the kids. Mushers Robert Redington and Jae March March.Tour Manager/Guide Tyler Schmitt Schmitt. "The Beatles" from Barbara N. Redington and Ramie Redington. Nicolas Petit thanks for introducing a new musher to Girdwood, the cabin, custom cart and continuing to educate folks on our state sport of dog sledding with the The Alaska Dogstead Mushing Company . As we shift gears to fall training with Robert Redington Dogsledding crew look for live videos of the Team and Tours in Big lake with Team Petit. Thankyou from all at Girdwood Mushing Company

Girdwood Mushing company would like to welcome Jae March to the team with Redington sled dog crew.

Jae grew up in Michigan outside of Detroit enjoying recreational mushing since she was around 12 years old. It all started on a winter vacation to Ontario, Canada which didn’t initially have dog mushing on the agenda. One sight of a tiny advertisement at the Searchmont ski hill was all it took to get Jae on the runners for a sled dog tour. From there sled dogs and mushing became a must-do passion that lead her towards Alaska in 2009 guiding tours in Juneau. After making Alaska her permanent home a year later Jae continued to give tours in Juneau and Skagway. She’s had some opportunity to race small races which she enjoys but spends a lot of her energy helping Robert prepare for Iditarod every year. Above all Jae loves their dogs and the life they’ve given her. She says it is a pleasure to share their dog family with guests while showing off what they love to do and what a happy life these dogs live. Book your adventure @ Alyeskatours.com
