Last year, the city began making significant improvements to Hemlock Park, adding pickleball courts and an accessible kayak launch while also updating other areas of the park. These additions have already increased the magic of Hemlock park, drawing more visitors and providing new opportunities for outdoor activities

The latest enhancements include the construction of an accessible playscape and splashpad. These additions are not just about fun; they are also strategic investments that will positively impact tourism in Mecosta County. While we may not see the project completed in time for this summer the impacts of these improvements will be seen for generations to come.
