Let’s take a quick look at the brand new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. If you’re wondering how this is different from the regular Polynesian Village Resort, it’s just that this building is part of the Disney Vacation Club side of the resort. Anyone can book it up to 11 months out, though. We stayed in a deluxe studio that sleeps up to 4 with a queen bed and queen Murphy bed. One of the benefits of staying here vs the main Polynesian Village Resort is that these deluxe studio rooms have kitchenettes and the villas have full kitchens. Standard rooms in the main resort don’t even have a microwave! Most of the rooms at at the Island Tower have a water view and many have a fireworks view since Magic Kingdom is directly across the lagoon. The Island Tower also houses everything within one building, which is convenient and decreases the amount of time you’ll spend walking.If you’re looking for island vibes right in the middle of the Magic, this might be the spot for you!
