Anyone feeling like sheltering at home is getting old, imagine sheltering up to 13 stories underground in Cappadocia with up to 6 months supply of food and water, no electricity, as Christians did when hiding from Roman armies. Travel, history and culture gives one perspective. #gowild #wildlandadventures #traveltoturkey

Travelers Learning to Grind Millet in Zimbabwe
What locals in Zimbabwe think of travelers learning to grind millet... 😂😅🤣 You have to see this little boy's reaction from a visit to the Ngunyana Village during our Water for Hwange Conservation Safari. Absolutely classic!!!
These are the type of interactions we love to foster during our adventures.
Here's a taste of what trekking in the Himalaya is like courtesy of our Africa Program Director adventuring in Nepal!
Zimbabwe School Feeding Program
Zimbabwe is facing its most severe drought in nearly half a century. Millions of people are facing starvation and children in impoverished rural communities are especially vulnerable.
To combat hunger during this record drought, we've teamed up with our partner in Zimbabwe, Imvelo Safari Lodges, to provide daily school lunch to 2,660 school children at 11 rural schools near Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. In total, Imvelo will provide upwards of 425,600 school lunch meals in 2019!
You can help by contributing to our GoFundMe, $4 is all it costs to provide lunch to a school child each day for a month ($.20 per meal). A donation of $50 will feed 250 students or one student for the rest of the year! To learn more or make a donation, please visit: https://www.gofundme.com/f/zimbabwe-school-feeding-program
