Today, I want to personally share some exciting Wildland Adventures news.

This is Cesar. He's a 22 year old medical student in Havana that has knocked on the door of our Cuba guide every day for the last six weeks, to ask if she feels okay and/or have any symptoms. When she thanks him for what he's doing, he just says thank you right back for sheltering at home. Thanks to him and countless others, Cuba continues its downward trend of Covid-19 cases, with no deaths today and only 20 confirmed cases today (less than 2000 in total).

“The memories of our many Wildland journeys really do help carry us through this time. Just this afternoon I was looking at photos from exactly a year ago when we were in Argentina. We are very grateful for the opportunities to see the world with the assistance of your team.

I keep reading that one of the recommendations for keeping sane through the quarantine is “plan a trip!” Good idea, except as you know, we’re already covered for 2021. So when the dust settles, we’ll be in touch for Turkey in May of 2022.”
