Get to know us Fridays!

Next up is The Lamborns! For fun each week, we thought we would play "Two Truths and a Lie." Tom has been on full-time staff at High Point Camp for just over 20 years. However, if you add up all of his summers at High Point when he was on summer staff, he just finished his 25th summer! He has a wife named Jenn, daughter Addison, and son Deacon.

1. I have been to 20 different countries around the world.
2. In 1999, I was offered a tryout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers having never played football before.
3. In 1997, I was the first person in the world to ride a bike from Key West Florida to Anchorage, Alaska.

God is Holy. Our reasonable worship to Him is to keep our thoughts and actions pure before a Holy God. Maybe there are areas in your life that you need to give over to God or ask for His help or forgiveness. Pray and ask God to help you in these areas and ask someone who is a mature believer to help you as you seek to grow!

See why loved working at camp this summer: "This past summer, I had the incredible opportunity to work at High Point Camp, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The directors were deeply invested in us, offering constant support and care through meals, small groups, and personal interactions.

Each director led a small group of about 10-15 summer staff, where we gathered weekly to share meals, dive into devotionals, and simply enjoy one another’s company. My small group became a source of tremendous growth for me, both in terms of confidence and my walk with Christ. We bonded over fun games, but we also engaged in meaningful discussions that took us deeper in our faith.

I absolutely loved my small group and can't imagine life without the relationships I built there. Working at High Point gave me a front-row seat to see how much the directors pour into the staff, and you truly experience Jesus through every person you meet."
